Georgia Milroy graduated from Vancouver Film School and began a career in post production in 2003. She was an assistant editor on twenty eight MOWs before moving into factual television where she edited 231 episodes on 23 reality series. Her recent documentary work has included award winning films and series that have premiered at the Tribeca, Whistler, Santa Barbara and San Diego film festivals. She was one of the lead editors on the highly regarded four part documentary series Women Who Rock and credited as co-director of the last episode. She won the 2023 Leo for best picture editing in a documentary series for her work on Women Who Rock. More recently she has edited the feature length documentary I Am Raquel Welch and true crime series In Cold Water: The Shelter Bay Mystery for which she has been nominated for a Canadian Cinema Editor’s Award for best editing in a Documentary-series.

Georgia is noted for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to combine creativity and collaboration. She describes her 19 years as an editor as an ongoing learning opportunity that has allowed her to continually hone a craft that challenges and rewards her.
